We leave Ras Al Feid along a rocky sandstone terrain. Throughout are spectacular varying views of the barren desert landscape with surprise encounters of desert vegetation and animal life. Approaching Little Petra there are signs of increasing human habitation of Bedouin camps, sheep pens, and small agricultural plots. We enter a small sandstone canyon and wind our way through to the site of Beihdah.

Around 25 L backpack to carry the belongings you need for the day
Trail snacks, such as chocolate, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, etc.
Personal mug (important!) Let’s try to reduce waste!
Comfortable hiking/walking clothes
Hiking shoes/boots
Warm layer (fleece, wind breaker, or a down jacket)
Flip flops/sandals to wear around the campsite
Sunglasses
Buff/cap/head cover/bandana
Hiking pole(s) (optional)
Your favorite coffee or tea for the morning
Sun protection - SPF 30 or more

If the trip is canceled 30 - 11 days before departure, 20% of the payment is non-refundable.
If the trip is canceled 10 days or less before departure, 50% of the payment is non-refundable.
